Hi all!
This is first "fun" question that has been asked. Some of you may know that I do some magic on the side. My top 3 favorite tricks are making someone float, Sticking daggers into someone's head, and shooting fire out of my hands (kind of like Mickey Mouse). I love magic because it takes children away from their phones, computers, and tablets and brings amazement and wonder to them.
HAPPY TRADING!
I can cut a paper n make it whole again. Does that count?
The 3 best we KNOW, or the three best we OWN?
Using layman's terms? Ummmm...
#1) Throw someone an "invisible deck" of cards, have them select one, and produce that one from your wallet (which obviously only has that one card in it).
#2) A bear (or rabbit) runs from side to side in a small house with two doors, the kids see him running, but the magician can't find him. Finally both doors are opened and the bear is gone. When the magician turns around, looking for him, he's hanging on the magician's back.
#3) Two sets of six numbered blocks are shown. The magician drops one set in random order into a tall skinny box, open on both ends. He then asks the audience to call out an order for him to stack the second set. When he lift the tube, the first set matches the audience stacked set!
There are so many more great effects, it's really hard to say those are the BEST three, but those are great examples of close-up and parlor magic that play very well for adults or children. Of course, what's really important is the way the effect is presented, and the interaction between performer and audience. I think we might all agree we've seen the same effect from different magicians, and sometimes we like it, sometimes we LOVE it, and sometimes we hate it! The effect takes a back seat to the presentation!!
As a flip-side to this question, what have you seen a magician do that amazed or awed you the most? What gives you that incredible sense of childlike wonder and delight?
Wow! Those are some awesome tricks! I have always loved larger stage magic tricks involving assistants. They never cease to amaze me! The classic zig-zag trick and disappearing assistant tricks always amaze. Then again, Close-Up magic is amazing because the magic happens about a foot away from you!

Of course it does. That is magic!
In general, the biggest impact of intimacy comes from intimacy. They stand out when their imagination is as big as their hands, especially when they are physically active when they seem very simple. A cup-and-ball routine that ends with a cup and a pinch of fruit confuses people. The same goes for sponge balls made by the public. Stage magic often involves too much gear and some crazy tricks that I like. Check this game's

Oh my goodness! Those are some incredible moves! Larger stage magic tricks with helpers have always appealed to me. Close-up magic, on the other hand, is incredible since the magic happens just a foot away from you! They never fail to astound me! The traditional zig-zag trick, as well as disappearing assis tant antics, never cease to amaze.
