Hi everyone; I finally found my way over here.

I'm RetroDiz on DPF and Pin Pics as well, but my Pin Pics trading assistant is currently turned off. (At least I think it is, lol. Hard to make sense of those settings on the new site. )

I've been mostly collecting in recent years but have traded sporadically since 2007. With the price of my older pin wants skyrocketing I figure I'd better get back into trading. My main collections are Alice and Sleeping Beauty.

I'm seriously impressed with the pintradingdb website and will do what I can to contribute to it, although I don't have as many pins as a lot of you. Going to be a long process as I need to do major organization at the same time.

I haven't seen a trading section on the forum; is no one interested in that? Perhaps you're waiting until the database is larger?

Hello all!

My name is Brandy (EeyoreLover31) and I am OBSESSED with pin trading! (Aren't we all?) I started pin trading last year before my family's first trip to Walt Disney World. I was born and raised in Florida, but only went to Disney three times which were all 1 day school trips.

When I say I am obsessed I am not joking! Of all the charges I sent to the room I would say 75% of them were for pins. I charged right around $2,000.00. I tried unsuccessfully to hide that from my husband! LOL!

I LOVE Eeyore pins! I also LOVE anything and everything UP! My husband and I like to say that we're like Carl and Ellie!

I am trying to upload my pins and am excited to be a part of the site!

HIO everyone!
the name is George, but everyone calls me by inter-web alias Spike Hawkin. so i have only just started pin collecting alongside some coworkers who convinced me to get a year pass to DLR. I'm a local southern Californian who grew up on disney, in disney, and around disney loving family. i was born in 1993 and thus i grew up OBSESSED with Jack Skellington. as of now my target is Jack, Sally, Oswald, and Honest John the Fox. 1 thing i have noticed is there is a distinct lack of DLR trading post pins that you can buy there. i'm wondering if this is on purpose due to regular accessibility to the pins or if its just to large a task to tackle? any-who, i have quite a few purchased pin's not listed and a regular access to them in stores so if theres one you need or want you could let me know, i'll hunt it down at the parks for you.

Hi! My name is Kirsten,

I live in Ohio, so I don't get to go to WDW as often. I never been to WDL but it's on my bucketlist to go and visit there. I recently started pin collecting/trading in June of this year on a family vacation. I got hooked to pin collecting and trading because my aunt has been collecting pins and trading pins for close to 10 years. When I started looking at her pins, I just thought how cool they looked and how each pin was so highly detailed. So I started pin collecting! Whether it's a scrapper or an authentic pin, I like them all! So, I am a deaf pin collector/trader. I just graduated with my associates degree in graphic design and thats also one of the main things why i'm into the hobby. This fall I'll be continuing my studies in graphic design at Ohio University for a BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts).

I collect:

Frozen (mostly Olaf but I also love anna and elsa)
Alice in wonderland pins (mainly Alice and Cheshire Cat)
nesting dolls
and anything that catches my eyes. :-)

I have a small collection right now (about 23 pins), so I'm mainly trading. If I wasn't a college kid and had a job, I would totally love to buy more pins. So I'm trading for now unless I see something that I desperately want. If a trader doesn't have what I mainly wants, I'm open to looking at their other traders because you never know what might be floating around, could be something good! ;-) The experience so far has been really fun, I love meeting new people and I love to hear about what's been going on in CA or in FL. So It's pretty cool that you can say "oh I know someone that lives in Hong Kong". ;-) But I'm excited to start growing my collection and get some really cool pins!

Hello, Everyone! We are Jeff & Jenean from VA. We've been poking around on this site for a few months, just to get a good idea of all the different pins our there. We're new to the pin trading thing, and our kids certainly got us interested in it.

It all started with a work conference at the Coronado Resort and buying a couple of the lanyard & pin sets for the kids. As they got a bit older, we decided it was time to start saving for a family trip. We bought a few pins while there, but wow, are they expensive. Anyway, that was last year and we went back this past June with a better game plan for trading.

We are very excited to be a part of this forum and maybe we'll glean some tricks of the trade (pun intended).

Hey everyone!! Im Ashley...Im only on this site my name is Ashy215 on this site not to familiar with the others if there out there which Im sure theres many I am a big'o Disney Nerd and I am very proud to say it!! Its pretty bad I got my best friend her boyfriend and my boyfriend into big pin traders, I started them off with there first traders and the rest is history...Im Super new to this site, Maybe you awesome people can help me figure it out.. how does it work? I tell/show people what pin I have and its up to them to yes or no to trade? Im super excited to start talking/trading with everyone!! Any help is much appreciated to help me get this show on the road

Hello everyone,

My name is Shelley, I'm a pin collecting newbie at 48 years old, no thanks to my friend who has been a lifetime collector herself, LOL. I'm from County Durham in the North East of England, United Kingdom.

I like to collect (and buy) Star Wars pins as well as Haunted Mansion, Tower of Terror and Alice in Wonderland (because of the Mad Hatter and Cheshire Cat).

I do hope everyone can help me with collecting pins. I buy most on eBay whether it is in the UK or USA or Europe. I just got to have them. I have the pins framed, just like my friend does with hers.

I had my very first visit to USA when my friend took me to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, last September (2016). I loved every minute of it despite having a mini flu in my 2nd week of the holiday. I have been to EuroDisney in Paris, France a few times and am going back there again this year. It might be the last time because of this silly Brexit thing.

Hello everyone! My name is Melissa. I have been collecting pins since November of 2015.  I'm fairly new to the hobby and still learning about the different pins out there and, how to spot scrappers.  I live in NJ and, try to make yearly trips to WDW. For the most part, I collect LE pins, POH pins and, beauty and the beast pins. 

I came across this site while searching for ways to track my pins.
