Can Non-Disney pins be added to the Database? What about buttons?

Please consider drafting guidelines for buttons as well as fantasy pins. It seems kind of arbitrary to not allow, at the very least, relevant official items to be posted simply because the metal post runs parallel to the object instead of perpendicular. One of the benefits of a site like this is the opportunity to log our COMPLETE personal Disney pin/button collections in a user-friendly (ie. not Microsoft Excel) way, and for me at least, these current limitations are a huge detractor to using this database and adding more items going forward. Especially if my entries are liable to get deleted when all I want is a complete record of my collection and to help your database grow to be as complete, thorough, and helpful as possible.

As for unilaterally trying to determine what pins/buttons people will and will not trade, it's completely subjective and on a case-by-case basis. Once again, these rules seem arbitrary, and even feel somewhat like a form of gatekeeping. Apologies for my tone, but I am frustrated and would really appreciate consideration of this request. Thanks.
