| Description | WDW - Parades Collection - Space Mountain Pin This pin is the ninth release in a 2024 monthly series "Walt Disney World Parade Collection" featuring the classic WDW attraction "Space Mountain." Nipper the Robot-Dog is sitting in the ride vehicle, ready to launch. Behind him is the "Space Station X-1", a tribute to an original opening day attraction at Disneyland. It opened on July 17, 1955. Guests experienced the illusion of orbiting Earth in a space station.The attraction closed on February 17, 1960. The landmark Space Mountain building is in the background at the Magic Kingdom.
