DescriptionTo celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Walt Disney Classics Collection Society (Anniversary titled “Decade of Dreams”), this 12 pin set was released for a limited time. Every year, the Collection used a different production mark to indicate the year the collectors item was released. Each mark represents an important piece of Disney Animation. These productions marks include:

1992: Steamboat Wheel (Steamboat Willie)
1993: Treble Clef (Silly Symphonies)
1994: Dancing Flower (Dancing Flowers and Trees)
1995: Trowel (Three Little Pigs)
1996: Donald Duck's Hat (Wise Little Hen)
1997: Music Stand (The Band Concert)
1998: Pick Ax (Dwarf’s Diamond mining tool to celebrate Disney’s Diamond Anniversary)
1999: Sorcerer's Hat (Fantasia)
2000: Flying Feather (Dumbo)
2001: Butterfly (Bambi)
2002: Sombrero (Saludos Amigos)
2003: Singing Harp (Mickey and the Beanstalk)
One of Mickey Mouse’s most famous roles was as The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. This role was featured in Walt Disney’s experimental film, Fantasia. This film is celebrated for combining animated art with classical music. Mickey’s character, the segment he is featured in, and the music used in the segment are all called “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.” the Sorcerer’s Hat is a blue enamel on a gold colored base metal. It is a pin on pin with the base pin being the main logo of the WDCC in a shade of Prussian Blue.

The back of the pin has a Singing Harp (the 2003 production mark) waffling. Under the single post is a smoothed box with the following information: - (C) Disney - Walt Disney Collectors - Society Exclusive - 1999 (year of that Pin’s production mark) - China

The pin back is a plain black circle.

This set came in an embossed box. Charter Members received a special Umbrella Production Mark pin that represented Disney’s Pinocchio. Another WDCC 10th Anniversary souvenir was a Keepsake Commemorative Coin featuring Jiminy Cricket and the Society 10th anniversary logo which is featured in these photos.
